The supporters club - run by fans, for the fans!

Official Statement - 7th July 2009

As you may have been aware, WWISC owned 500 shares in WWFC PLC, and were entitled to vote in the possible takeover meeting held at Adams Park, on Monday 6th July 2009.

Unfortunately, due to the timescale between the announcement of this takeover and the actual date of the vote, we were not able to contact our members with voting forms etc, or for them to be returned in time for the vote.

In view of this WWISC abstained in the vote, as we felt it was the only thing we could possibly do to be fair to all our members. WWISC also abstained in the Trust vote for the same reason.

Car Parking

For the season 2008/2009, this parking area will be controlled after every home game by the football club. This is for Health & Safety reasons, as the movement of cars and thousands of people on foot are obviously a dangerous combination.

At the final whistle, barriers will be erected to stop parked cars leaving while pedestrian walk down Hillbottom Road. Cars will then be guided out of these spaces to avoid the congestion of everyone trying to leave at the same time. This will take approximately 15 minutes, and we ask that you are patient while this happens.

If you need to leave early, then you should leave the car park before the final whistle.  This applies to all home games, regardless of the time of kick off.

Your help and understanding in the above will be greatly appreciated.
